Sebastian teaches technique, musicality and repertoire in his “regular” tap dance workshops. The participants usually get access to a an online documentation of the class repertoire, including videos, transcriptions and music lists. You can find a list of available workshop topics below.

Apart from these regular workshops, the teaching of improvisation and musical issues has become a specialty of Sebastian. As a dedicated improviser, he has been teaching improvisation for two decades and has developed a broad set of exercises and tools. His focus is on five areas of “skills”: time, form, phrasing, focus & communication, and an intelligent, sensitive handling of fears, inhibitions, creativity and audience. The range of exercises goes from a simple kickstart into the art of free play to complex exercises on instant composition.

Some groove basics and steps of classic tap dance masters can be found in the free online tutorials. Upcoming workshops are announced in the calendar.
